Ripped@60

by Joe Weaver
(Boone, North Carolina)

Hello, my name is Joe Weaver age 60, and in the last year I was able to get in the best shape of my life.

After years of on and off exercise and dieting I finally found a system that was easy, natural, enjoyable and most importantly sustainable.

After studying several books about Ayurveda I put together an exercise and diet program based on ayurvedic principles. Much to my surprise, it worked better and was more fun than anything else I had ever tried.

Thanks, Thomson
by: Joe Robert Weaver

Thank you, Thomson for your kind comment. I hope you are experiencing robust health and energy, also. It's easy to get in great shape at any age if you know a few ancient techniques.

Here is a link to a recent humorous video where the camera man doesn't believe I'm 62.

Hello Clint and Denis
by: Anonymous

Hello, Clint. And a late hello to Denis (Sorry I didn't see your comment before.)

I've discovered that breathing technique, that is sometimes used in yoga, can be applied to weight training with remarkable results.

Although I've always wanted to get into great shape, I've been a serial work-out drop out my whole life. That is, until two years ago when, I discovered the yoga breathing technique mentioned above.

This technique stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, and produces a settled 'in the zone' experience during exercise. It is the exact opposite of the fight or flight response we usually get when the sympathetic nervous system kicks in normally during exercise.

Besides the in the zone experience during exercise, I was recovering faster and then a few weeks later I noticed my weights were going up.

Six months later I entered an online physique contest for men over 40. I came in second at 60, the guy that beat me was 40, and the man that came in third was 42.

I've written an e-book about the techniques titled "The Vital Breath Performance System". And in the last year I've trained a number of young men from around the world who are experiencing the benefits also.

Essentially, it is a mind-body technique that is very simple but its effects are fundamentally different from how we all grew up experiencing exercise.

I only wish I would have know about it when I was growing up on a farm in Indiana. It would have made all kinds of chores a lot more enjoyable. And I probably wouldn't have had to wait till I was 60 to be in the best shape of my life.
