Still at it!

by BOB WHITE
(VICTORIA, BC, CANADA)

I was a skinny kid and started training at 15 with George Jowett's bodyweight course in 1957. Four months later I bought the Weider 64lb dumbbell/kettlebell set from Ben Weider in his little office in Montreal. Bodybuilder Ed Theriault went out to the garage to get the plates. I then lugged them home on the streetcar and Farmers Walked them 10 blocks home.

Now at 76, I continue to enjoy working out regularly with dumbbells, bodyweight assist, expanders, and a Total Trainer.

I am astonished to know that there are many seniors who are interested in body building and the story of BOB WHITE is much inspiring. I am also interested in body building and I have recently joined a gymnasium.

Elders like you are great motivation for the younger generation like me. We all love bodybuilders like you. My grandfather is the same as you. He loves to work out. And you elder guys look so hot.

Still at it!

Hi Bob... thanks for your comment on my post. Well, based on the pic you have here it looks as though you're going to be "at it" for quite some time to come. It's GREAT seeing people like you, and so many others here, taking responsibility for their health and body. A lot of people sell the body short in their mind. Especially as they hit the 50's - 80's. But the good news is, a lot of others aren't doing that. You look great man and you're an inspiration.

One great story Bob. I just turned 60, and I just posted my story on here. I've put together my own routine using ayurvedic principles, and I'm really excited about the results!
