My husband and I have been interested in fitness and body building for a long time. We have gone to 15 Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Classics in Columbus, Ohio and hope to return next year.

We used to live in a big old house with a field stone foundation and dirt basement. Hubby always said if we ever had a "nice" basement, he wanted a home gym. Well, 17 years ago we sold the old house and bought a brand new condo with a "nice" basement!

The equipment in these photos was bought over a few years. One of the multi-function machines was purchased at a fitness equipment store. The other was purchased from a family member who no longer used it. It was a little different from the original. Having a TV in front of the treadmill makes the time go by faster. Also, we use it to follow along with various exercise programs.

We both love exercising together at home.

Our other passion is ballroom dancing. The other side of the basement is a wood floor where we teach and practice. The sign over our heads "Hustle" is one of the dances we teach. Think disco!
